Description
The Fiber Optic Red Light Pen Tester (VFL) – 1mW is an essential tool for testing and troubleshooting optical fiber networks. Designed in a pen-style metal housing, it easily detects fiber breaks, sharp bends, and faulty connections in both singlemode and multimode fibers.
Its 650nm visible red laser provides clear visual feedback for up to 5 km of dynamic range, with Continuous (CW) and Flashing (2Hz Glint) modes for different testing environments. The protective dust cap keeps the output clean and secure when not in use, ensuring consistent performance.
This tester includes a 2.5mm ferrule for SC & ST connectors and a 2.5mm-to-1.25mm adapter for LC connectors—making it compatible with most fiber optic interfaces.
